Youth Ministries in the Diocese of Spokane is a program for all youth in grades 7-12. There are 6-7 youth events held throughout the year in which youth from all areas in the diocese come together for community, prayer, spiritual growth, service and fun. The diocesan youth events provide opportunities for youth to gather with friends they have made attending Camp Cross and other Diocesan youth events. During these events the youth are given opportunities to participate in worship services by writing prayers, presenting homilies and providing music. Every event incorporates games, theological reflection and time to be with friends as well as make new ones.
We also have a Mission Trip for the youth this summer as well as a youth led Vacation Bible School. Both of these events are held for one week where the youth will be cooking their own meals and having daily theological reflection.
The heart of Youth Ministries is the community of friends that grows from participating in these Christ-centered events. We hope you will join us and become a part of this loving community
