Intermediate/Junior High 3!!!

A Late start to updating, but everything has been so busy.  The Theme of this session is the Elements.  So far we have had Water day, where we learned about baptism and what water represents in the bible.  The campers had to use their eyes and ears to find the staff members during a giant game of Staff Hunt.  And we closed Water day with a new game called Cabinproof, where the teams are made up of each cabin.  It is similar to capture the flag but with a few variations to rules.  These campers have been outrageously energetic and this morning some of us have lost our voices just trying to keep up with the campers! Yesterday was Fire day, we learned about the burning bush and how fire can destroy but it can also purify.  The biblical knowledge of these campers amazes me day to day.  We had great fun playing coloneyball in the afternoon and had a PACKED talent show that night.  There was dancing, singing, jokes, and several hilarious skits by the small groups.  We finished up the day with campfire in our main building Wallace, and had a short worship where we wrote a sin or troubling thought down on a piece of paper and put it in the fire to represent purification.  Today is WIND DAY!! We have a lot of great things planned, the campers are learning about the Holy Spirit and building hover crafts in their small group.  Until later, this is Kate and Alex from Camp Cross!
