Are you thinking of being a counselor at Camp Cross? Leaders in Training is a specially designed weekend session to train all prospective counselors for the role. Any person thinking of becoming a counselor must attend LIT; however attending LIT is not a guarantee of a counselor position. Participants will work with fellow counselor hopefuls and program leaders to develop thoughts and ideas to use throughout the camp season. In addition, they will learn leadership and communication skills as well as techniques for leading small group discussions. Our counselor candidates will display energy and passion for their prospective position and will be responsible role models for our campers.
All counselors will be notified of their selection the following week and placed with the appropriate age group (counselors must be a minimum of three (3) years older than their campers).
