Why?
The check-in process aims to accomplish several key objectives:
- • Ensure that Camp Cross staff, camper families, and the campers themselves have everything they need to make the camp experience safe and rewarding.
- • Ensure that campers have an opportunity to say ‘good-bye’ to family and to say ‘hello’ to their fellow campers, counselors, and staff.
- • Ensure a clear and consistent process for Camp Cross staff to assume and exercise responsibility for the campers who’ve been placed in their care.
