Camp Cross cannot happen without the hundreds of people who volunteer their heads, hearts and hands each summer. We would love to have you come out and serve at Camp! It’s a great way to spend some time at a beautiful place, meet new and old friends while building a community, watch kids be transformed by Christ’s presence and be transformed yourself by the amazing Camp Cross Spirit!! On top of all that, there is free food and lodging for a week!
Labor of Love: Come out and open Camp for the 2009 at Labor of Love over Memorial Day weekend. Whether for one day or three, we’ll feed and house you, your family and friends as we work hard and play hard together. Whether you like to cut down trees, clear trails, or prepare the kitchen, we’ll have something important to do that fits your ability.
Counselor: Be an important part of our team as a camp counselor. Spend time mentoring campers and hone your leadership skills in the process. Counselors help facilitate small group discussions and assist the staff in setting up and implementing program activities. These are often the people campers remember the most when remembering their camp experiences. You truly make a difference!
Kitchen Volunteer: Volunteer in the kitchen during our youth camps. Come out for a full week or a half, make the great food that keeps our campers running, while watching the transformation that happens at Camp first hand! Even if you aren’t the Iron Chef, we’ll have plenty to keep you engaged!
Donate To Camp: Camp Cross supports a number of scholarship and endowment funds that you may contribute to as you see fit. Help is also needed in the form of supplies to be used at Camp Cross. With your help we can continue to make Camp Cross a truly wonderful experience. Click here for more information on how to donate.
Camp Cross Advocate: Join the Camp Cross Conduit and share information about upcoming events at Camp with your congregation and friends. Help us fill up our Camp and make Camp Cross the happening place to be!
Formation Team: Formation Team members work with our Program Staff to develop and implement Christian formation programming for each session. Generally the Formation Team is made up of a spiritual team leader and a program team leader. These members of our team are vital to the success of our program.
