Camp Director

The Camp Director oversees operations, staff, and facilities at Camp Cross. The Camp Director is responsible for setting vision and leadership development for all staff. The Camp Director strives to develop the leadership qualities of Camp Cross staff, and to implement the thematic elements of Camp Cross’ unique, God-centered vision for campers of all ages and backgrounds.

Camp Registrar

The Camp Registrar processes all registration materials and payments. The Camp Registrar confirms that registration packets are completed and filled in correctly. The Camp Registrar also handles questions regarding registration, payments and the registration process.

Seasonal Positions

Program Director

The Program Director serves as the day to day manager of program needs at Camp Cross. This person oversees staff and volunteers, and ensures that all programs adhere to the safety and thematic elements of Camp Cross. The Program Director works with staff and volunteers to encourage their own spiritual and leadership development.

Kitchen Director

The Kitchen Director manages all aspects of food service at Camp Cross. The Kitchen Director is responsible for daily meals and snacks that satisfy proper nutrition for campers of all ages and dietary needs. The Kitchen Director must maintain a clean and organized kitchen that adheres to Idaho food safety standards. The Kitchen Director must oversee and work well with volunteers.

Kitchen Assistant

The Kitchen Assistant works with the Kitchen Director to provide daily meals and snacks. The Kitchen Assistant places food and supply inventory orders and oversees dining hall cleanliness and organization. The Kitchen Assistant must work well with volunteers.

Facility Assistant

The Facility Assistant oversees day to day maintenance of Camp Cross facilities and grounds, and keeps a maintenance log. The Facility Assistant must possess a broad range of facilities maintenance skills. The Facility Assistant will work with volunteers.

Waterfront Director

The Waterfront Director oversees all water- and waterfront-related activities, including swimming, boating, waterfront games, and lifeguarding schedules and training. The Waterfront Director must be lifeguard-certified for a minimum of three years, and must currently be certified in CPR/First Aid for the professional rescuer. The Waterfront Director must have strong swimming and and boating skills. The Waterfront Director will also serve as Program Staff.

Program Staff

Program Staff are the first line of contact with campers. Program Staff work closely with campers and counselors to build on their spiritual growth. Program Staff implement day to day procedures and actives for campers of all ages. Program Staff will work with counselors and volunteers as mentors and leadership developers.
